Dom, hailing from Liverpool, started DJing at the age of 16 playing a range of house music from vocal and uplifting to deep and soulful. After a year of bedroom DJing he started playing in the bars and clubs of Liverpool. Initially playing in the smaller clubs it wasn't long before he started to gain his first residencies in places such as Mood, Revolution, Mosquito, Newz Bar, Noir, Stray and Bamboo where he played alongside megastars 50 Cent and Rihanna, along with Rob Tissera and Tall Paul. In 2010, at the age of 21, Dom moved over to Ibiza to peruse his dream of DJing on the island famous for its music and the DJ’s that it attracts. After 2 months of trying he was eventually given a set in San Antonio’s ‘Hed Kandi Bar’, (formally the Egg Bar), which then led to him being given a set in the already well established ‘Plastik.’ He was then asked to come back and play in Plastik every night for the rest of the summer playing the pre parties for some of Ibiza’s biggest club nights and DJs: Pukka Up, Garlands, Carl Cox , Cream , Tiesto, Hed Kandi, Judgement Sundays and Pete Tong’s Wonderland. These pre parties enabled Dom to DJ with guests such as Jaymo & Andy George, Micky Slim, Jason Bye, Jon Fitz and many more. Dom also played on a number of boat parties including Garlands, Lost and Pukka Up but he also gained residency alongside Pete Tong on his ‘Wonderland’ boat party. Dom was also signed up by Judge Jules’ brand ‘Judgement Sundays’ to DJ for the weekly pool parties held around the hotels of San Antonio.
Dom made a return to Ibiza in 2011 to pick up his residencies at Plastik and Hed Kandi Bar alongside fellow residents Paul Reynolds, Dermot C, Matt Peverell and Lee John. He also continued his Judgement Sundays pool party residency and gained a new one, playing at the famous Bora Bora beach every Sunday for Liverpool based brand ‘Sin Sundays’. Dom also played guest spots including at Es Paradis playing for Hed Kandi and Eden where he played the closing set for Garlands closing party. He also delved into the deeper side of house when he played at Sankeys on the same bill as Butch, Matt Tolfrey, Shaun Reeves and Droog.
Returning back to Liverpool when the season had finished Dom quickly picked up two residencies back in Liverpool, at the exclusive venues ‘Reform’ and ‘89’. With big bookings already taken for the coming months, the start of his own productions in the studio and returning to Ibiza to continue his Plastik and Hed Kandi bar residency 2012 looks set to be another big year for him.
